Ottawa Valley Acupuncturist Receives Prestigious Health Education Award

November 30, 2011 - Lesley Levinski, Certified Acupuncture Practitioner, recently won the prestigious President’s Award for Overall Excellence from the International Academy Health Education Centre in Ottawa. The award, which is granted only rarely, recognizes outstanding achievement in both academic performance and clinical ability.

“I’m really honoured to have received this recognition,” says Lesley. “The clinical teaching staff and professors at the Academy really embody the philosophy that they teach, and that makes all the difference for those entering the field.”

Home in Deep River, where Lesley has run a successful TCM practice since 2009, she continues to learn, frequently taking new courses to further her education in natural healthcare and complementary medicine. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with her community and is grateful that her community has embraced her TCM practice with open arms.
